Rising Readers - This program was developed for the reader who needs extra help in basic reading skills. Our goal is to not only give students a love for reading but to give them a foundation in phonics.  This program also focuses in on fluency, comprehension, spelling and vocabulary by using critical thinking skills.

Writing 101 - This program is designed for students wanting to improve their structural and creative writing skills. Students will gain the basic skills that they need in writing paragraphs, letters, book reports and essays. This program also stresses the fundamentals of grammar.
Foundational Math - Our foundational math program provides all students with the basic skills they need to move onto higher Math.  The goal of this program is to focus in on basic problem solving, computation skills, measurement, equations, numeration, and Math fluency. 

Algebra I, II, III – Westridge Christian Academy’s Algebra program helps students to develop and enhance their skills in patterns and functions, mathematical connections, problem solving reasoning and graphing. This program is designed for the beginning student as well as the advanced student.

Geometry – This program provides the student with a solid understanding of Geometry by mastering the following skills:  Angles and Lines; Triangles and Quadrilaterals; Circles and Three-dimensional figures; Advanced triangles and applications; Inductive and Deductive Reasoning and Writing Proofs. 

SAT / ACT Prep – Students can choose from an SAT/ACT prep class, or personalized tutoring at Orchard Academy.  This program is designed to prepare the high school student for the single most important college entrance examination he/she will ever take.  We help the student by identifying weaknesses and providing tips and strategies for success in all areas including language arts/ critical reading, math, and essays portions of the test.

Intro Spanish/ Spanish I, II, III and IV - Our native speaking Spanish teachers work with students of all levels of Spanish.  The focus is not only on grammar and test taking but on conversation. 
 

Homeschool Enrichment - When you’ve tried every avenue to help your child excel academically, and you don’t feel qualified to homeschool your child, Westridge Christian Academy is here for you.  In our day school, we provide classes and instruction in every subject area.  We are accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission and we would love to help guide you through your homeschooling journey.
