Our Mission and Philosophy |
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might." Ecclesiastes 9:10 It is our desire at Westridge Christian Academy to give your student the educational foundation that he/she needs to succeed not only in academics, but in life. Our goal is to partner with you in homeschooling your student by providing classes that challenge your student to excel academically and enrich them personally.
We believe that… Every Student has a God-given gift that needs to be nurtured, focused and cultivated. Every Student has an innate love for learning. Learning comes best when it has purpose. A student learns best by doing. Mastering a subject provides the best foundation for further learning. Workbooks do not equate to learning. Education should not only focus on Academics but on the student as a whole.
Our focus is on… Academics with Purpose. Creating an atmosphere where the student is free to explore, embrace and master a subject area of study. Giving the student cultural experiences that will enrich his/her life in a positive, profound way.
Our Goal is to… Partner with you in educating your student. Give your student an educational experience that honors and glorifies God. Create an atmosphere that merges the best of a homeschooling environment with the best of a classroom environment. Be a resource and guide for you as you endeavor to educate your child. Be a stepping stone between Homeschool and College by providing a means for your child to obtain a transcript and graduate with a diploma.
